The Business Need

Each year, millions of tons of cargo move through Fraser Surrey Docks. Included in this tonnage is a significant volume of export forest products, consisting of Packaged Lumber, Panel Products, Wood Pulp and Newsprint. Large volumes of Steel Plate, Coil, Pipe, Rod and other structural products are also imported through its facility each year. They are handling increasing volumes of container traffic, both export and import and supply stuffing and destuffing services to a large number of customers. They also handle a major portion of Project and specialty cargoes both exports or imports which rounds out the expertise of their diversified terminal. The Fraser Surrey Docks had a vision and long-term strategic plan to prepare for future growth.
